How to check IPO allotment on Bigshare

Bigshare Services is the third registrar that shows up constantly on SME and some mainboard issues. Allotment is checked on Bigshare's own site, with your PAN. It is free.

Have these ready

  • Company name
  • PAN, and the application number or demat ID if requested

Steps

  1. 01Open Bigshare's IPO allotment page on bigshareonline.com. Ignore pages that ask for a fee or a card payment to 'reveal' allotment.
  2. 02Select the company. If it is not listed, the basis of allotment is not ready.
  3. 03Enter the PAN or the other identity field shown, and search.
  4. 04Treat the registrar result as the answer. Broker apps sometimes lag it by a few hours.
