The registrar's own page
Registrar allotment guides
Registrar
KFintech
KFin Technologies is one of the three registrars that handle most Indian IPOs. Allotment for an issue they manage is published on their own status page. It is free. This desk does not look it up for you, and nobody legitimate will charge you to check a PAN.
Registrar
MUFG Intime
MUFG Intime India is the registrar previously known as Link Intime. If the prospectus names MUFG Intime or Link Intime, this is the allotment page. It is free, and it asks for details only the applicant would have.
Registrar
Bigshare
Bigshare Services is the third registrar that shows up constantly on SME and some mainboard issues. Allotment is checked on Bigshare's own site, with your PAN. It is free.
Exchange
NSE
NSE shows whether your bid was accepted while the issue is open, and it can show allotment after the basis is finalised. The registrar is still the better page for the final allotted or not-allotted answer. NSE is worth using when a broker app is vague, or when you applied on one exchange and want to confirm the bid landed.
Exchange
BSE
BSE's application check takes a PAN or an application number and is the direct way to see a BSE SME bid. Several issues on this sheet are BSE SME only, so NSE will not have them.
While the issue is still open
There is nothing to allot yet. Use your broker, or the exchange bid page, to confirm the application was accepted and the UPI mandate was approved. Come back to the registrar on the allotment date printed in the prospectus. A company page on this desk, such as Bombay Coated & Special Steels, links the registrar only when that prospectus names one.
Some SME issues use Cameo or Skyline instead of the three registrars above. The prospectus is the list. Do not pay a website to “unlock” a status the registrar shows for nothing.
