How to check an IPO bid on BSE

BSE's application check takes a PAN or an application number and is the direct way to see a BSE SME bid. Several issues on this sheet are BSE SME only, so NSE will not have them.

Have these ready

  • Your PAN or application number
  • The issue, if the form asks you to choose one

Steps

  1. 01Open the BSE investor application-status page. The long-standing path is bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx. If BSE moves it, start from the BSE investors section rather than a third-party copy.
  2. 02Enter the PAN or the application number and search.
  3. 03Read the bid first. Come back after the allotment date for the final status, or use the registrar named in the prospectus.
  4. 04SME issues listed only on BSE will not show on NSE. Check the exchange printed on the issue page of this desk.

After you have an answer

  • BSE's status page is free. A site that asks you to pay to unlock a BSE result is not BSE.
