How to check IPO allotment on KFintech
KFin Technologies is one of the three registrars that handle most Indian IPOs. Allotment for an issue they manage is published on their own status page. It is free. This desk does not look it up for you, and nobody legitimate will charge you to check a PAN.
Have these ready
- The company name, as it appears on the prospectus
- Your PAN
- Application number, or DP ID and client ID, if the form asks for them
Steps
- 01Open the KFintech IPO status page. The current address is ipostatus.kfintech.com. Older ris.kfintech.com links redirect there.
- 02Choose the IPO from the company list. If the name is missing, the basis of allotment is not out yet. Wait until the allotment date in the prospectus.
- 03Enter the PAN, and the application number or demat ID if that is what the form shows.
- 04Submit. The page returns allotted or not allotted. A registrar page is the record. A screenshot from any other website is not.
After you have an answer
- Allotted shares are credited to the demat account on the credit date. The UPI mandate for the shares you did not get is released on the refund date. Banks often take a further working day to show that unblock.
- If the status disagrees with your demat or your bank, write to the registrar. The public contact used for IPO queries is einward.ris@kfintech.com, and the toll-free line published for investors is 1800 309 4001.
- Bombay Coated & Special Steels, on this sheet, names KFintech as registrar. Other issues on the sheet do not get a registrar until it is taken from that issue's own prospectus.
